I love the idea of having everyday things with a twist. I mean, how many objects that we need or use everyday are actually any fun? How many of these objects do we even notice anymore? I have dozens of lamps around my home and I’d be hard pressed to successfully describe any one of them in great detail… well, maybe the one my mom gave me for a birthday, the rest are lovely, but who pays attention anymore?

Motorola Xoom

The good: The first tablet to combine Google's Android 3.0 software (now upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwich), Motorola's knack for great hardware, and Verizon's 4G network, the Xoomtablet technically offers a more powerful, more capable alternative to Apple's original iPad.

The bad: It's expensive, heftier than the iPad 2, and novice users may balk at Android's read-the-manual attitude.

The bottom line: Despite some useful features, the Xoom's high price and bulky design make it a less than desirable tablet offering.

Akash Tablet

The Aakash is a low-cost tablet computer with a 7-inch touch screen, ARM 11 processor and 256 MB RAM running under the Android 2.2 operating system. It has two universal serial bus (USB) ports and delivers high definition (HD) quality video. For applications, the Aakash will have access toGetjar, an independent market, rather than the Android Market.

At the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next year, OnStar and Cadillac will show up showcasing their latest technologies including the new CUE infotainment system that was first shown to public at the 2011 LA Auto Show.While Cadillac will discuss the research methods behind the creation of CUE, OnStar will unveil its research in the 4G LTE cloud connected vehicle space, reveal future expansions in the mobile application arena, and make announcements about  OnStar FMV, its aftermarket rearview mirror that contains all of OnStar’s key functions for older vehicles.

The iPhone 360 Degree Panoramic Video Lens.

This is the iPhone lens that captures seamless 360º panoramic video. Using the same technology found in U.S. Army surveillance cameras, the lens has a curved mirror that gathers light from all directions and reflects it back into the iPhone's camera, enabling video recording in all directions simultaneously without requiring image stitching.
