Apple iPhone 5 Release date rumours

Rumours surrounding the iPhone 5’s release date, potential specs and features, and price have fuelled reports that Apple is gearing up to launch its next-gen smartphone around summer time. The handset, which is rumoured to be named the new iPhone, is reportedly under construction – and the rumour mill has been busy speculating about what we can expect to see from the device, if and when it lands.Respected Japanese Apple blog Macotakara has allegedly received word from "Asian sources" who claim that Apple will launch the device in September or October 2012 which would fit with last year’s arrival of the iPhone 4S."According to Asian reliable source, next iPhone will be released in September or October, and this cycle seems to be kept for years," read a translated portion of the report.Last year's October iPhone 4S launch was the only time Apple has verged from the summer cycle, making users wait 15 months instead of the usual 12 for a new handset. For the complete knowledge on Iphone 5 visit the site http://www.apple.com/in/ios/

Android Jelly Bean 5.0

Though Google has not made any official announcements, it's no secret that the next version of Android will be known as Jelly Bean.
While we'll likely hear more details about the mobile OS upgrade at today's Google I/O keynote, Google tipped Jelly Bean's arrival in a video (below) that shows it being added to Google's Android statue garden.
Typically, whenever a new version of Android is unveiled, a life-size replica of the new OS takes its place on a patch of grass outside the company's Mountain View headquarters. This week, a jelly bean-filled statue joined Androids dressed as an ice cream sandwich, a honeycomb, fro yo, a donut, and so forth.
"A new friend just moved into the neighborhood," the Android Twitter feed tweeted this morning with a link to the one-minute video.
In it, a moving truck rolls up to the Google offices and the driver removes a large crate. Googlers are then seen lining up and passing large jelly beans down a line, one by one, to their new home outside the Googleplex.
The Ice Cream Sandwich statue arrived at Google in Oct. 2011, shortly before Google unveiled Android 4.0 at an event in Hong Kong.
PCMag will be be Google I/O today, so stay tuned for all the Jelly Bean details. Until then, see 5 Things We Want From Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Dell Streak Pro

It’s been a long, long time since we’ve heard anything about a Dell Android-based gadget, but you would be happy to know that the American electronics multinational is still alive, kicking and thinking about you Android geeks.Well, sort of, at least, because the latest Dell manufactured Android-based product is set to hit the market in March, but doesn’t look very impressive, at least on paper. The Streak Pro GS01will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread and will be powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The chipset is more than decent by today’s standards and should ensure a good overall performance level, but on the other hand the guys at Dell haven’t mentioned a thing about any upcoming Android 4.0 update, which is very unpromising.
The rest of the features should make the smartphone a decent medium to high-end gadget, at least for now. There’s 1 GB of RAM, a 4.3-inch qHD capacitive touchscreen with 960 x 540 pixels resolution, 8 GB of on-board memory, an 8 MP rear-facing camera with LED Flash and a 1.3 MP front-facing webcam. In terms of looks, the Streak Pro GS01 should be pretty elegant, but also sturdy and will be made available with a dark, classy all-black body. However, I personally am not overly excited with the smartphone’s measurements, as it is set to weigh in at 145 grams (5.11 ounces) and to measure 10.3 mm (0.4 inches) thick. As far as connectivity goes, the 4.3-incher will feature WiFi, Bluetooth, but also HSDPA support with speeds of up to 14.4 Mbps in Japan through the eMobile network. Finally, in terms of pricing, things are not very ‘’pleasant’’, as the Streak Pro GS01 is set to cost ¥54,800 in Japan, which would convert today in around 680 US dollars. No word yet on a global release, but it’s pretty clear that if this smartphone will ever come to the United States or Europe, it will need an important price cut to draw some kind of interest.
